Acai bowl recipes are based on the puree version of the fruit. Currently, this healthy fruit is being used not only for consumption, but also for cosmetic and pharmaceutical purposes. WHO (World Health Organization), USDA, Embrapa (Brazilian Government Agribusiness Research Branch – Brazil is one of the world’s largest Acai producer according to FAO) as well as private cosmetic and pharmaceutical companies are studying the healthy benefits of Acai fruit.
Acai puree, or Acai in a bowl is considered a healthy and rich in nutrients. Healthy fibers, proteins, vitamins, essential acids and minerals. The reason why “the doc recommends a glass of wine per day” is due to anthocyanin, a healthy nutrient present in the grape… and in the Acai fruit.
In Brazil, the Acai fruit as well as Acai Palm Tree are used not only for consumption, but for the production of huts (wood), roof tops (leaves), clothing (fiber) and brooms (wood and dried leaves).
Acai bowl recipes – Acai puree in a bowl with strawberry
Preparation time: 05 minutes
Serving: 1 acai bowl
Ingredients for Acai bowl:
200g of frozen Acai pulp
10 strawberries (or any other berry)
1 tablespoon of honey
04 ice rocks
Granola (optional)
Blend acai pulp, honey, ice rocks and 05 strawberries until forming a uniform puree. Slice the remaining 05 strawberries and decorate with the Granola. Enjoy immediately!!!

Preparation time: 30 minutes
Serving: 11 small Acai bowl portions
Ingredients for Acai bowl:
1kg of frozen Acai pulp
500ml of Guarana Syrup
05-06 medium sized fresh bananas
Granola (optional)
Blend all ingredients, except the Granola, until forming a uniform “ice cream”. Enjoy immediately with sliced bananas and Granola!!!

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Serving: 1 acai bowl
Ingredients for Acai bowl:
100g of frozen Acai pulp
100g of frozen Strawberry pulp (or any otherberry)
100g of frozen Pineapple pulp
04 tablespoons of date syrup (or substitute for your favorite sweetener)
Granola and powder milk are optional for decorative purposes
Blend Pineapple pulp with date syrup (or your favourite sweetener) until forming a uniform puree. Include the remaining ingredients and blend. Decorate with powder milk and granola. Enjoy immediately.
